Quick to form, slow to end Examples: Valentines Banquet   Embrace or discontinue them? Is it a Biblical or theological matter? Does it adhere to your church's mission? Do people know the story behind the tradition?   A source of conflict when getting rid of them Know tradition form deep emotional ties for people. know those who have no attachment truly have no attachment. The leader has to balance the two sides. emphasize your mission. replacing is easier than eliminating. new traditions need a new story.
